Jean PATOUT joined Lancôme in 1977. From the moment he set foot in the world of perfume, he knew he had met his destiny. In 1979, he set up the perfume company Nadine PATOUT. Intuitive and passionate, he soon envisioned how the choice of a perfume could echo one’s personality. From that point on, he devoted his entire professional life to establishing this link. In his book “PIED DE NEZ” (a French expression which means “to thumb your nose at”) he explains the intellectual aspect of our olfactory sense in direct link with our unconscious mind.
